ARCTIC has been growing steadily and sustainably since 2001. With now more than 65 employees at three locations, we manufacture, market and sell our high-quality PC cooling solutions, monitor and TV mounts as well as sound products and equipment.

We are a recognized training company of the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and train junior staff in the fields of marketing and eCommerce. Our goal is to offer young people a long-term professional perspective and development opportunities in our company.

ARCTIC is a dynamic company designing and manufacturing a wide range of products, mostly related to computer cooling solutions, but also workspace ergonomics and comfort products. Our office, located in The Octagon, Tsuen Wan, at a mere 10 minutes’ walk from the Tsuen Wan West MTR and bus station, or a short shuttle bus ride from Tsuen Wan MTR, offers a modern working environment. You are a member of the engineering team developing innovative computer cooling solutions with a focus on cutting edge performance, high quality, attractive design, short development lead-time and competitive cost.

Your main tasks are
• Realize research to define the most suitable technical solution for the project.
• Design the structure of the mechanical parts of the product.
• Prepare and test the prototype to refine the design.
• Follow-up tooling preparation with the supplier and validate the parts produced are according to requirements.
• Prepare and review the technical documentation to ensure a smooth mass production start.

You are stationed in our HK office but you may be required to visit and support our Mainland manufacturers at some point (PRD area | day trip).

What do we expect from you?
• You have extensive knowledge about product development, and you like to push boundaries.
• You have solid experience and skills in CAD software (SolidWorks or Pro\E).
• Experience in manufacturing plants will be considered an advantage.
• You are open-minded, willing to listen to opinions and accept new challenges.
• You clearly understand that your performance contributes to the team as well as the company’s success.
• Your actions are target-oriented and you are self-motivated. You have good discipline and a serious working attitude.
• You are able to handle multiple projects in parallel and work under pressure.

How you will create an impact?
• Support the e-commerce team in researching and integrating new platforms. The goal is to independently establish our products in new international marketplaces by working independently.
• Ensure smooth internal process control: your work is networked with various departments within the company—logistics, administration, accounting, marketing and business intelligence.
