Case Fans from ARCTIC

Case fans are used to dissipate the heat coming from the PC components during operation and to ensure a long-term service life of CPU, GPU and other parts. Without adequate cooling, the processors overheat, which in the worst case can lead to damaged parts despite protective functions such as an automatic thermal switch-off.

In addition to special coolers for the CPU and GPU PC case fans help optimize the airflow in the Computer and thus improve the temperature within the PC.

Make Case Fans quieter

Loud fans can be quickly perceived as annoying. An unpleasant noise volume is usually the consequence of a high fan speed, which is indicated in round per minute (RPM). However, a high volume may also be due to the fact that the bearings of the fan run poorly and cause vibrations, which causes additional operating noise.

Both factors, high speed and poor bearings, reinforce each other and increase the noise level.

The noise level of fans is generally expressed in decibels (db) or sones. Whichever way its measured: the lower the value, the quieter the fan.

Larger fan diameters with lower speed and good bearings are a big help against loud fans. A larger fan can push or pull more warm air at the same RPM than a smaller fan.

Silent PC fans are also characterized by high-quality ball bearings and additional rubber buffering, which guarantee a low friction and vibration-free operation.

Installing and connecting the Fans

Our case fans of the F- and P-series can be used and installed very flexibly.

Fans with 3-Pin and 4-Pin Connectors can be purchased and can be easily installed and connected to a wide array of applications.
